Homemade Ice Cream

Equipment

  • Ice Cream Maker (electric), Rock Salt & Cooling, Bag of Ice

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Lemon

Instructions
 

  • Add eggs and sugar in bowl  whisk together then set aside.
  • Heat a medium saucepan of milk over medium heat.  Add a pinch of salt.  Begin to add your egg and sugar mixture. Whisk until you get a thick consistency.
  • Remove saucepan from stove. Allow mixture to cool in refrigerator or place in freezer to cool quicker (Be sure not to accidentally freeze the mixture).
  • After mixture has cooled place in ice maker to churn.
  • Around the ice cream container, place your salt rock and ice and churn for 30-45 minutes.
