Living Well With Intention | It’s About Choice

The first step to living well is taking care of yourself. It’s important for your mental and physical health, as it helps you maintain a positive mindset that can assist with achieving goals in life or work! Take time today at lunch hour (or any other downtime)to meditate; do something fun – this will help create memories which might otherwise be forgotten due to stressors outside our control such as illness/injury etc., but also gives us something nice when feeling down because there are no worries anymore since tomorrow brings new opportunities.

When you have intentions for your day, it can help to create a positive mindset. Your thoughts and actions will be geared towards living well rather than just trying or succeeding at something because of what’s happening in the world around us! As we all know too well these days – things aren’t always easy but that doesn’t mean they’re impossible.

One of my impactful intentions is self-care through a mind/body connection yoga practice. I’ve been trying out different studios to see which one best suits my needs. I was excited to try hot yoga at Ritual! I’m dripping wet in a dark mode studio temperature set at 98-degrees, candle-lit room. This is not your average yoga sound session either. When it came to breathing to the beat, Ritual did not hold back. They have you covered if you’re looking for an upbeat playlist; all of the tracks have a hip hop bass that will get you moving.

I encourage you to try out different studios until you find the one that best suits your needs – whether that’s hot yoga, vinyasa flow, power yoga or something else entirely.

It’s all about choice we get to choose how we want to live our lives, what type of work we want to do, and the types of activities and hobbies that bring us joy. I’ve chosen yoga as my mind/body connection practice and it brings me peace.

Everyone approach to self-care is unique and personal. Self-care can be separated into two types; interrupted an uninterrupted patterns of activity that calm, focus, or soothe your mind/body connection.

It’s your choice!

Be Well!
